Apple iPhone

  • Utilises the iPhone's own default email client for email (IMAP recommended)
  • Push email notifications (requires iPhone OS 3.0) can be added by installing an iPhone app ('PushMail')
  • Full two way synchronisation message read/unread/deleted status
  • Easy access to all personal email folders
  • Access to Public and Shared mail folders is supported
  • If using Outlook Connector, transparent two way synchronisation between your desktop Outlook client, WorldClient and your iPhone is easily achieved by creating an account on Apple's MobileMe service and installing the MobileMe add-on for Outlook on your desktop PC (requires Outlook 2003/2007 and Alt-N's Outlook Connector plug-in)
  • If Calendar synchronisation isn't a requirement, a free iPhone app ('Synthesis SyncML client') can be used to provide full two way synchronisation of contacts directly between your MDaemon account and your iPhone.
