MDaemon^® can be up and running in under 10 minutes. The Windows-based mail server requires less maintenance than the average mail server and offers the flexibility of remote administration to make email management simple. The mail server offers the flexibility of SyncML, IMAP, POP, SMTP, and DomainPOP services and does not require a Server Operating System. It also features an Intuitive, tasked-based GUI, easy account database integration (via Active Directory, LDAP, ODBC, or MDaemon's Minger verification), multiple domain support, and simple back-up and restore for rapid failure recovery.

Create and manage bulletins, discussions, and distribution lists easily to effectively communicate on multiple levels. Custom scheduling and mail queuing allow for more flexible outbound mail management.

Outlook Connector for MDaemon* takes advantage of the groupware features built into the MDaemon Mail Server to help people work collaboratively by sharing calendars, messages, tasks, plus user-defined content contained in IMAP email folders. MDaemon's groupware functions make professional-quality groupware available to budget-minded businesses with or without IT support personnel. These capabilities can also be leveraged remotely when used with MDaemon's webmail client, WorldClient.

When Smart Message Routing is enabled MDaemon will maintain single copies of messages destined for multiple recipients and use multiple RCPT commands to deliver the message whenever possible, thus saving on your disk space and bandwidth.

MDaemon's Attachment Linking removes attachments from email messages and stores them locally on the server. In place of the actual attachment, MDaemon Mail Server will insert a URL which the user can click on to retrieve the attachment(s) as needed. This saves bandwidth and storage space on the client machine and especially on mobile devices.

MDaemon Email Server is ready to work with most mobile devices on the market including iPhone^®, Windows Mobile^®, Palm^®, and Symbian^® devices.

For BlackBerry^® users MDaemon features enhanced connectivity with push email, enhanced email security, and inbox mapping to push mail from other mail folders into your BlackBerry's Inbox.

MDaemon Email Server for Windows incorporates multiple layers of security techniques such as Relay Controls, IP Shielding, SMTP Authentication, and reverse lookups, minimizing possible server exploits. It uses the advanced email authentication techniques of VBR Certification, and validates and signs messages using DKIM, DK, Sender-ID, and SPF. Combined with its anti-spam engine, Bayesian filtering, SSL/TLS, Backscatter Protection, and SecurityPlus for MDaemon's* proactive malware prevention, it provides layered protection to safeguard your messaging communications.

MDaemon can easily move your data from an existing Exchange^® Server to MDaemon. Through MDaemon's MDMigrator wizard, it is simple to move accounts and account information, mailboxes and their content, and mailing lists. The built-in wizard also moves calendars, contacts, distribution lists, notes, and tasks. Journal entries are moved, but stored in a folder and not currently used by MDaemon.

MDaemon Email Server's built-in email message archival capabilities make it easy to safeguard your email messages, while adhering to regulatory compliance.

WebAdmin, a convenient remote administration tool included with MDaemon Email Server, provides administrators access to most of MDaemon's features from any computer with a web browser and an Internet connection. MDaemon's WebAdmin allows you to do everything from adding or editing accounts, to directly editing configuration files, to reviewing logs for troubleshooting mail delivery issues, and so much more. With MDaemon's built-in SSL capabilities, WebAdmin can even be accessed via a secure connection using HTTPS.
